Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Slayer, Smithing and Crafting each have a Wisdom perk for 10% more XP in that skill. Apprentice Gathering gives 5% XP only to Mining, Woodcutting and Fishing; it does not apply to every skilling action.

Skilling Focus

Adds 8% to Obsidian material roll chances after eligible Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, Cooking, Firemaking, Herblore, Runecrafting, Agility, Thieving, Hunter, Farming, Construction, Prayer, and utility Magic actions. A successful roll grants one physical Obsidian material; it does not duplicate the normal resource.

Apprentice Gathering

Adds 5% Mining, Woodcutting and Fishing XP. Every 10 standard ore, log or fish gathering successes grants 1 extra matching resource if inventory space permits, with no bonus XP or Obsidian roll.

Forge Efficiency

Reduces every Forge material stack by 5%, rounded up after the discount.

Catalyst Saver

Saves one Catalyst whenever a Forge batch would consume two or more Catalysts.

A normal resource is not an Obsidian material

Skilling Focus improves the chance of an eligible Obsidian material roll. It does not duplicate ore, logs or fish. Gatherer's Mark is a separate cape or hands upgrade: supported gathering actions have a 5% chance to add one extra normal resource.

See the Mining loadout for a complete three-perk example. For Smithing or Crafting, use the matching Wisdom perk and do not count Apprentice Gathering as an artisan XP bonus.

Getting your supplies

Use the home merchant's skilling category. Ironman players have a dedicated tools and basic materials shop; noteable skilling materials are delivered noted for larger purchases. Use the Teleport Master's skilling destinations to reach your activity.
