Three account perks

Mining Wisdom

Increases all Mining XP you earn by 10%.

Skilling Focus

Adds 8% to Obsidian material roll chances after eligible Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Smithing, Crafting, Fletching, Cooking, Firemaking, Herblore, Runecrafting, Agility, Thieving, Hunter, Farming, Construction, Prayer, and utility Magic actions. A successful roll grants one physical Obsidian material; it does not duplicate the normal resource.

Apprentice Gathering

Adds 5% Mining, Woodcutting and Fishing XP. Every 10 standard ore, log or fish gathering successes grants 1 extra matching resource if inventory space permits, with no bonus XP or Obsidian roll.

Mining Wisdom adds 10% Mining XP. Apprentice Gathering adds 5% Mining, Woodcutting and Fishing XP while equipped. Skilling Focus improves eligible Obsidian rolls, not ore quantities.

Equipment upgrades to consider

hat / chest / legs / hands / feet

Obsidian Scholar Thread

Each equipped upgraded armour piece multiplies all earned XP by 1.01.

cape / hands

Obsidian Gatherer's Mark

Each supported gathering action has a 5% chance to add one extra resource to your inventory or ground.

Use an appropriate pickaxe. Scholar Thread fits head, body, legs, hands or feet and multiplies XP by 1.01 per upgraded piece. Gatherer's Mark fits cape or hands and can add one extra normal resource on supported gathering actions.

A useful swap

For Woodcutting or Fishing, change Mining Wisdom to the matching Wisdom perk. Apprentice Gathering does not boost artisan skills. Use Core Resonance instead if you do not own the new-character apprentice tome.

Before you spend

Check perk compatibility, compare permanent upgrades and review Forge materials. Socketed effects require worn matching gear; they cannot bypass the one-Tempo or one-Focus rules.
