Three account perks

Ranged Tempo

Halves standard ranged attack delay against NPCs, rounded up with a 2-tick minimum. PvP and special attacks are excluded.

Guardian Resolve

Reduces all damage received from NPCs by 5%.

Prayerful Rhythm

Each killing hit against an NPC has a 20% chance to restore 2 Prayer points.

Ranged Tempo supports ordinary ranged attacks. Prayerful Rhythm has a 20% chance to restore 2 Prayer on a killing hit, so it helps on waves rather than on every attack against Jad.

Equipment upgrades to consider

weapon

Obsidian Life Spark

A successful weapon hit has a 20% chance to restore 1 Hitpoint.

weapon

Obsidian Spirit Siphon

A successful weapon hit has a 10% chance to restore 1 Prayer point.

chest / shield

Obsidian Aegis

Each non-zero NPC hit has a 1-in-12 chance to deal 25% less damage.

Bring ranged gear, ammunition, food and sufficient prayer supplies. Jad still requires correct protection-prayer switches; no perk makes those mechanics optional.

A useful swap

Use Marksman Focus instead of Prayerful Rhythm if supplies are comfortable and you want 5% more ranged damage. Spirit Siphon is the separate weapon upgrade with a 10% chance to restore 1 Prayer on a successful hit.

Before you spend

Check perk compatibility, compare permanent upgrades and review Forge materials. Socketed effects require worn matching gear; they cannot bypass the one-Tempo or one-Focus rules.
